Putting Compassion Into Action
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Coalition to Protect and Rescue Pets (CPR Pets) is a network of people who believe in acting on our compassion.  We have no staff.  No lobbyists. We don't accept funding--so we're accountable only to the animals we seek to protect--though we do appreciate donated services.

We’re volunteers who work on our own time and our own dime for the love of animals.

And we're effective.

As citizen advocates, we've passed landmark laws prohibiting
devocalization and the pet rental trade, educated the public about humane treatment of animals, and helped rescuers and individuals place "unadoptable" pets in loving homes--all through grassroots outreach.

Together and individually, we've proven you don't need a lot of money or a high-profile organization to make a difference.

You just need to take your caring to the next level.

You need to take action.
