Coalition to Protect and Rescue Pets is a network of people who believe in acting on our compassion. We have no staff. No lobbyists. And we don't accept funding, redirecting donors to community-based shelters and rescue groups--though we do appreciate donated services.
We’re volunteers who work on our own time and our own dime for the love of animals.
And we're effective.
As citizen advocates, we've led the campaigns that passed landmark laws prohibiting the pet rental trade and devocalization--we are the acknowledged national authority on this issue. We also educate the public about humane treatment of animals, and help rescuers and individuals place cast-off pets in loving homes. All of our work is done through grassroots outreach.
Together, we've proven you don't need a lot of money or a big-name organization to make a difference.
You just need to take your caring to the next level.
You need to take action.
